Emergency Exit Seating
An exit or emergency row is a row of seats next to or immediately behind an emergency exit door. Passengers seated in an exit row must be able and willing to assist the cabin crew in operating the emergency exit door in the event of an emergency.
In general, a passenger seating in an exit row must be a non-disabled adult, in full fitness, and able to understand printed and verbal instructions given in the national language of the airline´s home country. The exact requirements for passengers seated in an exit row vary by country and airline.
The passenger acknowledges and undertakes that it is their own responsibility to be thoroughly familiarised with the exact requirement applicable each time, depending on the relevant airline policies and/or local law.
To avoid doubt, if a person who has reserved an exit row seat does not meet the applicable safety requirements of the relevant airline or local law, the airline can, at its sole discretion, assign the passenger another standard seat, and no refund will be given.
