A rental car can be booked as an optional extra through our platform. Customers can book a car together with flights or as a standalone service, without booking flights.
The rental car is a separate ancillary service and is not managed by Dohop.
How does car rental booking work?
Rental cars can be booked and paid for during the booking process
The booking is made through CarTrawler
You will receive a separate confirmation email from CarTrawler after booking
Your car rental booking is independent from any flight booking.
Managing your car rental booking
For questions, changes, cancellations, or refunds related to your rental car, you will usually need to contact CarTrawler directly.
To manage your booking:
Log in using your booking details
Review your rental information or contact the rental provider shown in your booking
In some cases, you may need to contact the car rental agency directly, especially for pick-up or vehicle-specific questions.
Picking up your rental car
When collecting your rental car, you may need to:
Present your CarTrawler confirmation email or booking number
Show a valid driving licence
Provide a credit card in the driver’s name for deposit or insurance purposes
Credit card requirements and deposit amounts depend on the rental provider and location.

Dohop does not handle car rental changes, cancellations, or refunds
All terms, conditions, and insurance requirements are set by CarTrawler or the rental agency
