Refundable booking (Protect Group)
Refundable booking is an optional extra that can be added during the booking process. This service is provided by Protect Group and allows you to request a refund for your booking if you are unable to travel for covered reasons.
Refundable booking is not part of the airline ticket itself and is separate from Dohop services.
What does refundable booking cover?
Refundable booking lets you request a refund of your flight (or other travel service) if you cannot attend your booking due to certain unexpected, defined reasons.
Some of the reasons that may qualify (subject to the service terms) include:
Illness or injury that prevents travel
Public transport failure before travel
Severe weather conditions with warnings not to travel
Home emergency shortly before travel
Transport breakdown preventing arrival in time
Work relocation or compulsory redundancy
Death of an immediate family member

Refundable booking is not a guarantee of refund in all cases. Eligibility depends on the specific conditions and evidence requirements in the Refundable.me terms and must be proven with the documentation they request.
How do I request a refund?
All refund requests must be submitted directly to Refundable.me, the service provider.
How to submit a refund request:
Find the Refundable.me link in your booking confirmation email
Complete the refund application on Refundable.me
Provide all required supporting documents (medical certificates, proof of circumstances, etc.)
Submit the application within the timeframe specified in their terms
Refundable.me will then review your application based on their terms and conditions, and may contact you if additional evidence is needed.
